According to the latest "Infotransmitter" newsletter from Rainer Nagel, Rainer is currently in Nashville as part of his day job as a high school teacher, accompanying a group of tenth-grade students from Germany to an exchange visit in Nashville. Aside from his part-time role as a member of the Perry Rhodan editing team, Rainer teaches History and English in Wiesbaden, Germany (http://www.perry-rhodan.net/dr-rainer-nagel.html
According to the newsletter, he and his charges will be in Nashville until April 21. During their stay, the students are sitting in on classes in Nashville, among other things.
At the end of the newsletter, Rainer mentions that so far he has not seen any “signs” of Perry Rhodan in the United States. So, if there are any Rhofans in the Nashville area, perhaps you could try to hook up with Rainer before April 21 and show him that Perry Rhodan does indeed still have an active following in the United States.
As I don’t otherwise know Rainer, I’m not sure how to get in touch with him directly, other than suggesting the email address shown at the bottom of the newsletter: firstname.lastname@example.org
. Writing in English should be fine.
To see the newsletter itself (unfortunately only in German), go to http://www.perry-rhodan.net/newsletter-archiv.html
and select the one for April 7.
